Attacked by a Mob in Thessalonica

17 Now after they[a] traveled through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. And as was his custom,[b] Paul went in to them and on three Sabbath days he discussed with them from the scriptures, explaining and demonstrating that it was necessary for the Christ[c] to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is the Christ.”[d]
